Local people doing real work

Meet the Moyer’s Crew

Three people. One family business. One mindset. A whole lot of Alberta to look after.

Moyer’s Services Ltd. is family-owned, locally operated and hands-on. The people you speak with are the same people organizing jobs, operating equipment, hauling bins, doing property work, answering questions and showing up in person.

The family behind Moyer’s

The people answering the phone—and doing the work.

We are a small team, so nobody sits on the sidelines. We each bring different strengths, but the same standard follows every job.

Randy Moyer

Owner | Operations

Randy is the hands-on backbone of Moyer’s Services Ltd.—and he is on every single site. He brings approximately 20 years of industry experience and a huge amount of practical, real-world knowledge to the company.

He is not running the business from behind a desk and sending somebody else out. Randy is there operating equipment, hauling bins, helping with cleanups, handling commercial property work and working through whatever the site throws at him. He is mechanically minded, practical and good at seeing what needs to happen next.

Being on every site also means Randy sets the working and safety standard. He watches the conditions, equipment, vehicles, trailers, people and property around the job. His experience has taught him to respect risk, recognize hazards and make decisions based on what is actually happening on site—not to become casual about it.

Moyer’s is also much bigger than the day’s job to Randy. His vision is to build a strong family business that lasts for generations—a company built through hard work, reputation, good judgment and doing things properly. That legacy includes teaching the next generation to respect equipment, look out for the people around them and never treat safety casually.

His mentality is simple: figure out how to get the job done properly, protect the people and property around it, and make sure everyone goes home safe. That sets the tone for the whole business.

Kimberley Beson

Owner | Business Operations

Kimberley keeps the business moving—and she is hands-on with the work too. She manages customer communication, quotes, scheduling, marketing, advertising, accounts, business development and the constant moving pieces that come with growing a service company.

Her approximately 20 years in dealerships, including work as a Finance Director and Sales Manager, gave her deep experience in customer service, sales, operations, leadership and fast-moving businesses. She brought that experience into Moyer’s to help build the structure behind the work and keep the company moving forward.

But Kimberley is not just behind a phone or a computer. She works on site, helps with cleanups and property services, and gets involved in the practical work required to finish a job. She may be answering messages or organizing the schedule one minute and working alongside the crew the next.

Her role connects the customer, operational and field sides of Moyer’s. Clear information, realistic scheduling and making sure the crew understands the job before arriving all support safer work. On site, she shares the same responsibility for watching conditions, protecting the customer’s property, communicating clearly and looking out for the people working around her.

Energetic, entrepreneurial and direct, Kimberley usually has several ideas moving at once. She shares Randy’s approach: work hard, keep moving and solve the problem in front of you—but never at the expense of safe, responsible work.

Kael Moyer

Field Crew | Learning the Ropes

Kael is Randy’s youngest son and part of the next generation becoming involved in the family business. He helps with field work, property services, cleanups and the many jobs where another capable set of hands is needed.

He is genuinely learning the business, and he is learning it by doing. Working alongside Randy means seeing how jobs are handled, learning equipment, understanding what customers expect and experiencing firsthand what it takes to build and maintain a service company.

Learning the ropes also means learning safe habits from the beginning. Kael is learning to pay attention to his surroundings, respect equipment, communicate around trucks and trailers, recognize when something does not look right and follow the lead of the experienced people around him. He is learning that rushing is never worth somebody getting hurt.

The next generation of Moyer’s is learning more than the work. They are learning the standard behind it. Randy is teaching Kael how he expects jobs to be handled: work hard, use good judgment, protect the customer’s property, look out for the crew and never trade safety for speed.

He is learning the business the same way Moyer’s is being built: by showing up, working hard and getting involved in the real work. His involvement is the beginning of the next-generation legacy Randy is working to create.

One family. One mindset. One standard.

We are on the same page where it counts.

We have different roles and different strengths. But when it comes to work ethic, responsibility, customer care, jobsite safety and how a job should be done, we think very much alike.

Safety is not an afterthought or something that only matters when someone is watching. Around trucks, trailers, bins, equipment, snow and ice, debris and active properties, paying attention is part of the job.

We communicate, watch the site and the people around us, recognize hazards, use equipment properly and refuse to take stupid shortcuts just to save a few minutes. We figure problems out without sacrificing safety.

Getting the job done matters. Getting everyone home safely matters more.

The goal is simple: do the job properly, protect the customer’s property, protect each other and go home safe at the end of the day.

Show up when we say we will.
Work hard and carry our share.
Pay attention to the jobsite and people around us.
Identify hazards before they become problems.
Use equipment properly and respect what it can do.
Communicate around vehicles, trailers and active sites.
Do not take stupid shortcuts to save a few minutes.
Protect the customer’s property and surroundings.
Keep work areas controlled and organized.
Speak up when something does not look right.
Help each other instead of assuming someone else will.
Figure problems out without sacrificing safety.
Finish the job properly, not recklessly.
Take pride in our work, equipment and name.
Build good habits into the next generation.
Make sure everyone goes home safe.
Our family business

“Family-owned” is how the work actually gets done.

When you hire Moyer’s, you are not hiring a logo on the side of a truck. You are dealing with Randy, Kimberley and Kael.

Randy is on every site. Kimberley regularly works on site while managing the business side. Kael is learning the ropes and working alongside the family. One of us may answer your call, another may organize the job, and all three of us may end up working together on your property.

We live and work in Central Alberta. Our reputation matters because this is our home too, and our family name is attached to the work. As Moyer’s grows, we want to keep the direct, personal service that comes with dealing with the people who own the business and physically do the jobs.

We’re building Moyer’s for the customers we serve today and for the generations of our family who may carry it forward tomorrow.

That means passing down more than equipment and customers. The next generation needs to inherit the standard behind the company: hard work, responsibility, respect for the customer, good judgment and a strong safety mindset. Kael becoming involved is part of that future.

“Our trucks may carry the Moyer’s name, but so do we. That makes doing the job right pretty personal.”
